How modern-day NFL football invented

1823 - Rugby began organized play at the Rugby Boys School of London. At the same time students at Princeton were playing a similar game called "ballown"
1867 - Princeton and Rutgers both had developed their own rules of the game.
1869 - Nov 6 first game between Rutgers and Princeton. Rutgers won 6 goals to 4.
1873 - Columbia, Rutgers, Princeton, and Yale met in New York City to formulate the first intercollegiate football rules.
1895 - First professional football game
1920 - American Professional Football Association founded
1922 - Renamed National Football League

Through The Eyes of a Dog!

It was a cold December afternoon, I had left my owners house to go search for other dogs like me to mess around with. Considering Im the only animal at my owners house I have really nobody but my owner who hardly ever comes to go play with me. All he does is feed me and give me water. I guess I can be thankful for that, but I'd rather go look for some body else to play with. Well I start digging in this whole Ive been working on for about a week and finally I get it down underneath the fence and I finally get out. I remember the last time I had sneaked out I almost got caught by a dog catcher but luckily my owner ran to get me. What could I have done but run, Im just a puppy right now. Well after I get out of the backyard I start searching for someone to play with. All of a sudden I seen this car pass by so for some odd reason my extinct was to start chasing it. I chased it for about a good five minutes till finally it got away from me. By the time I had finished chasing it I had no idea where I was at. I was scared and lonely. Ive never got lost before in this neighborhood. Than another truck passed me, but for some odd reason I rememberd it. It was the dog catcher!!! I took off running and smelling for the smell back home. Finally I catch on to it pretty quick and hurry back home, but as I was getting into my yard the dog catcher had caught me. I WAS TAKEN CAPTURE! All I could do was kick and bark. I tryed telling him it was my house but the dog catcher couldn't understand me. I was so scared, I didn't know what to do! Than finally I heard my owner out side yelling at the top of his lungs "PUT THAT DOG DOWN", after that I knew I was safe. After that day, I had never try to escape and about a week later I got a new friend. THE END.

Room 401

In my room 401 I would have spiders just because they freak me out. They may be the ones that are scared of you but really they are just really weird. Why have spiders? FREAKY haha

Reindeer Game

It was Christmas eve, December 24, 2008 to be exact; me and some of my buddies were all up to no good waiting for ole Saint Nick to get all of his stuff together so we could head out and start delivering all the presents he had his slaves I mean elves make for all the children who have been good this year. Well back to what me and buddy were doing, we were just chilled back playing some gold fish when all of a sudden Kyler and Mikey come in and wanted to play poker. Gold fish was the only game I knew with cards other than Uno and Phase 10 but I was like sure I could learn to play some poker. Than Kyler was like well we play for money, so I was like sure what the heck I could win a couple of bucks here. Well Mikey pulls out a stock of 20's and says this is all I got, I pulled out 5 ones and was like Im a high baller this is what I got. Kyler and Buddy had plenty of cash, so we started out. After about an hour we heard something on our roof and we figured it was ole Freddy up there playing a prank on us, but when I glanced towards the window I seen Santa Clause looking through the window. He had seen us gambling and drinking. We all jumped and tried to run but it was to late, Santa had fired us from ever pulling his sleigh EVER! Buddy and Mikey were frustrated but me and Kyler were like SHOOT I don't need this job and went back to our hood. THE END. Thats not much of a Christmas Story but it will work...

Thanksgiving!!!

My family eats the traditional turkey diner. They always have a turkey, ham, mash potatoes, stuffing with dressing (to good), pea salad, sweet potatoes I guess they call them yams (I dont know but they are nasty but sweet), rolls, and other side servings. For dessert there is always the traditional pies like pecan, cherry and other pies. My favorite part of the meal would probably be the rolls and dressing...hahaha. The ham is also pretty tasty too.

Football

Today we play the Tulia Hornets here at home. Should be a good game, we should take the ball to the house a lot. Next week we start playoffs! Senior night! Should be fun!
