A New Tradition?

So Childress High School and other schools in Texas are no longer having a bonfire. I think its just flat out dumb how people can just go to a bonfire and do something stupid to get hurt. So instead of having a bonfire we are trying to think of a new tradition that we could start that would be just as good. Its not easy coming up with something everyone would like or enjoy doing. You will always have those people who like to disagree with you. Well I have a couple of ideas, not many but it will do. I think we should have like a big get together, I mean the bonfire was basically a big get together but with alot of excitment. We should have a big get together or something like that to were its like it was at the bonfire but just different. Well that was just an idea, kind of corny...ha

I was reading about A&M right here: "But since then students have continued the tradition off-campus. They've been constructing the bonfire this year at a ranch near Hearne. From 1909 until the year before the accident, the bonfire was constructed and burned on the eve of A&M's annual football game against its archrival, the University of Texas. The current bonfire had been set to be burned the weekend before the rivals faceoff. "

It would be cool to have a bonfire out of city limits. I mean the city can't really do anything can they? A&M had theirs on a ranch. That's just something to think about.
